Fire-hit Dudley pub to make way for shop
A fire-gutted pub which has been branded an eyesore will be demolished and a shop and six flats built in its place.

The Hill Tavern in Watsons Green Road, Dudley, has repeatedly been targeted by vandals since it closed four years ago.
Dudley Council has now given the go-ahead to plans to breathe fresh life into the site. The convenience store will be in the ground floor of the new building, with the flats above it.
The developer said the building needed to be knocked down because it had become an 'eyesore' and was beyond repair.
