£50,000 of cannabis seized in raids
Around £50,000 worth of cannabis was seized after two drugs factories were discovered in the space of 24 hours.
Thirty plants were found at the property in Woodgate Lane, Quinton, by workers from an energy company. Police were called to the house after the discovery on Tuesday.
That followed on from the discovery of 83 plants which were found at an address in Baptist Road End, Netherton, on Monday afternoon.
Officers entered the house following a call from a member of the public and found three upstairs rooms had been converted for the purpose of cultivation.
Forensics teams were called in to investigate. No arrests were made. West Midlands Police said inquiries were ongoing on both matters. Last week, 600 cannabis plants were found at a commercial unit in Hereward Rise, Halesowen.
