New Poundworld in Staffordshire to create 30 jobs
A new Poundworld store is to open in Staffordshire next month, creating 30 jobs.
It is being opened at the Three Spires Shopping Centre in Lichfield, the first in the city, on May 7.
It comes after gadget recycling store Complete Entertainment Exchange, or CeX, opened at the shopping centre last month, creating 12 jobs.
Dave Roberts, area manager at Poundworld, said: "We're delighted to be opening a new store in Lichfield."
Lisa Prokopiou, centre manager at the Three Spires Shopping Centre, said: "It is good to see another well-known name opening with us in Lichfield.
"The new Poundworld store has added extra retail space here at Three Spires, due to the extension and design of the shop unit.
"Poundworld has something for everybody at affordable prices."
Work has been ongoing at the unit Poundworld is going to move into for a number of months.
Hoardings around the shop were taken down at the weekend and the Poundworld signs have been installed on the outside.
