Man suffers serious head injury in Dudley street brawl
A man is in hospital with serious head injuries following a street brawl in Dudley this afternoon.
Two groups of men clashed on Stourbridge Road outside the mini mart near the junction with Spring Parklands. Police said more than 10 men were involved in the fight at around 2.30pm.
A 41-year-old man was left with serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.
No arrests have been made at this stage. West Midlands Police believe some of those involved ran from the scene, with others getting into vehicles.
The stretch of road where the brawl took place was sealed off by police while a forensics search was carried out.
Anyone who witnessed the fight or was in the area at the time is asked to contact the Violent Crime Team at Smethwick police station on 101.
