Woman suffers minor injuries in Penkridge crash

A woman suffered minor injuries when the car she was travelling in was involved in a collision involving two vehicles in Penkridge.

She was hurt when a Audi and gold coloured sports car crashed near the Dunston Business Village, in Stafford Road shortly before midday(8).

The injured woman is believed to have been a passenger in the accident which happened on the A449.

Fire crews from Cannock and Stafford were called to the incident to make the motors safe following the crash.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman John Hawker said the female patient was treated at the scene before being taken to the County Hospital, in Stafford. The emergency services were called at 11.59am.
