Driver appears in court over Dudley death crash
A man has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving after his passenger died following a crash in Dudley.

Jamie Wharton was behind the wheel of his Nissan Skyline when it careered through a garden wall in St Peter's Road, Netherton, in June of last year.
Front seat passenger Timothy Pearson, aged 23, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
Wharton, 29, of Birch Coppice, Quarry Bank, spoke only to confirm his name and address at Dudley Magistrates' Court.
He was seriously injured in the crash and walked into court with the aid of a crutch nine months on.
Wharton was released on unconditional bail and told to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on June 23 for a plea and case management hearing.
