The Malt Shovel in Chorley, between Burntwood and Lichfield, cannot serve alcohol from 7am on Friday, March 27 to 7am on Sunday, March 29, but it will still be able to sell food and soft drinks.

On two test occasions in the past three months staff sold alcohol to those under the age of 18.

As a result Staffordshire Police issued the notice under Section 169A(2) of the Licensing Act 2003.
