It is believed that the group distracted the shopkeeper at L S Bains in Lord Street while others sneaked into the living quarters and stole cash.

Detective Constable Marc Jerromes, from Walsall's Acquisitive Investigation Team, said: "I am appealing to anyone who recognises these men to call me with details and if possible names for them.

"Fortunately no-one was hurt during the burglary but these men need to be caught. They may still be in the Walsall area and we would urge anyone with any knowledge to call me or one of the team."

Anyone with information is urged to call Walsall police on 101. Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers the independent charity on 0800 555 111.

The burglary took place on January 27.
