Man seriously injured after Kingswinford machete attack
A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a machete attack in a Kingswinford park.
The 25-year-old man suffered serious arm injuries after being attacked in King George VI Park in the early hours of this morning.
Police were despatched to Kingswinford High Street after ambulance crews were called to treat a man at around 2.10am.
The injured man was rushed to hospital, where he remains for treatment this afternoon.
The injured man and friends are believed to have been involved in a disorder in a bar in Wolverhampton earlier in the evening, and enquiries are underway to identify those involved.
Police urge anyone who was in the area of King George VI Park, Park Road and High Street at around 2am today to contact them with any information which may help the police investigation.
