An ambulance, paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and paramedic area support officer were all sent to the scene of the crash at the junction of Yarnfield Lane and Moss Lane in Yarnfield at around 11.40pm last night.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith said: "On arrival, crews discovered a car that had come to rest on all four wheels after reportedly rolling a number of times.

"There were two patients but both were fortunate to have avoided serious injury given the nature of the collision.

"Both were men in their 20s, who were treated for minor head injuries before being transported to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further assessment."
