Tipton takeaway owner fined £7k after beef in lamb baltis
The owner of a Tipton takeaway has been fined £7,000 after dishes advertised as lamb baltis were actually found to contain beef.

Samples were seized from Spice Cottage in High Street as part of a trading standards sting. Kamal Hussain, aged 35, pleaded guilty to five charges relating to food safety and unfair trading at Sandwell Magistrates' Court.
He admitted that none of his lamb dishes were actually cooked with lamb.
He also failed to provide adequate traceability records for purchases of meat made by the business.
In addition to the fine, Hussain, of Grange Street, West Bromwich, was also ordered to pay court costs of £1,557.
