Dudley Council have vowed to clean up after the graffiti was found on buildings including walls surrounding Stourbridge Town Hall and electrical boxes in Coventry Street.

More has been sprayed on hoardings near the new Premier Inn, off Birmingham Street, close to a car wash centre.

Members of Stourbridge Township Council will be raising the issue with councillors at a meeting tonight.

Dudley Councillor Khurshid Ahmed said: "We rely on people reporting issues to us and our street cleansing team will act quickly to clean up this vandalism.

"Through our Love Your Community campaign, we are committed to ensuring borough residents live in a clean environment and the authority will not tolerate anti-social behaviour such as graffiti.

"We would ask people to report graffiti to us at Dudley Council Plus on 0300 555 2345.

"People should remember that all of our clean-up work is costing the tax payer money so we would also urge people to call the police on 0345 113 5000 with information about this kind of anti-social behaviour so we can help put a stop to it."
