Ed Miliband is visiting Cannock on Monday to take questions from members of the public.

The Labour leader is accepting bookings online and people will be told a day or so before the event exactly where it is taking place.

Cannock Chase is a major General Election battleground.

In 2010 it went from Labour to the Tories with the largest swing anywhere in the country.

Shadow chancellor Ed Balls has visited twice in the past four months.

Conservative chancellor George Osborne has also visited twice recently, announcing new jobs at Screwfix and unveiling his pensioner bonds just over the South Staffordshire border in Hatherton.

Labour said Mr Miliband would be 'setting out Labour's plan to take Britain in a new direction and build a future that works for you' over the next few weeks.

The meeting is a chance to tell the man bidding to be Prime Minister what they would want from him in government.
