Paul Cartwright died when the DAF Truck he was driving left Bewdley Road and crashed into the front garden of a house on January 5.

Emergency services battled to save Mr Cartwright but the 46-year-old, of Coates Road, Kidderminster, was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a statement, his family said they wanted to 'thank everyone for their kindness following their sudden loss of Paul'.

They added: 'Paul was a husband to Mel, a dad to Joe and Jasmin and a son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

"He will be very sadly missed by all his friends from both circuit-training and cycling.

'As a family we would like to maintain our privacy in this matter but we are also grateful for the kindness that all of our friends and family have given to us."

Mr Cartwright's funeral was held on Thursday last week. He worked at Stourport-based DE Talbot Transport.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting the incident reference 145 of January 5.
