Children left in tears and parties cancelled after sudden closure of play centre
A popular soft play centre in Staffordshire has closed suddenly, leaving youngsters in tears after parties had to be cancelled.
Go Bananas in Smiths Close, Burntwood shut its doors unexpectedly over the weekend.
Bosses wrote on the firm's Facebook page that the closure was down to the landlord locking them out.
In a statement posted on the Facebook page, it states: "We are closed for the foreseeable future.
"We would like to state that we did not know anything about the eviction until we arrived to work that morning. We did not have any written notice from the landlord.
"We are sorry for the upset we have caused in cancelling parties."
Hundreds of angry parents flooded the company's Facebook page with messages, saying their children had been left in tears at the news.
