Proposals to convert former Victorian Methodist church buildings in Old Hill were previously thrown out over car parking concerns.
But the proposals from members of the Old Hill Masjid and Community Centre Association have since been revised and resubmitted.
Following a visit on February 11 members of Sandwell Council's planning committee will decide whether to give the scheme the go-ahead.
Under the plans a former Sunday school and church building next to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, off Halesowen Road, would be revamped.
