Severe delays on M6 after collision between two lorries
Motorists faced delays of more than an hour this morning after a collision between two lorries on the M6 northbound caused traffic to be stopped.

The incident at J9 for Wednesbury occurred shortly before 8am this morning.
Although traffic was only stopped for a short while, two lanes remained closed for over an hour while the two vehicles were recovered.
Motorists faced delays of an hour from J6 for Birmingham, and from J8 of the M5.
All lanes are now open.
