Former Walsall and Stourbridge midfielder Sean Geddes is internet sensation after scoring incredible 'rabona' goal
Former Walsall and Stourbridge midfielder Sean Geddes has become an internet sensation after scoring an incredible "rabona" goal.
The 22-year-old, who is from West Bromwich and who now plays for Worcester City, produced a moment of magic during an FA Trophy game against Barrow last weekend.
Geddes wrapped his right foot around the back of his left leg to chip the keeper from the edge of the penalty area. The incredible goal has since received nearly half a million views on YouTube.
It was the latest highlight in an impressive season for the playmaker, who in addition to being Worcester's top scorer with nine goals, scored both in their historic 2-1 FA Cup first round win at Coventry last month. They now face Scunthorpe in the second round this Sunday.
Strikes like this will come as no surprise to those at Stourbridge's War Memorial Ground, who saw Geddes score several stunning goals during his three seasons with the Glassboys following his release from the Saddlers in 2011.
Unsurprisingly, his exploits are reported to be attracting the interest of several league clubs.
