The trio, who all live in Sweetbriar Road, Bilston, targeted the man while he was in the shop.

The court was shown CCTV where Mr Haji was held on the floor and kicked in the face by two of the offenders.

Mr Nicholas Burn, prosecuting, said: "There had been a dispute between Mr Khalil and the victim over payment of work done on a motor car.

"They have pulled up in a silver car and Mr Dabri Sabri walked into the premises and a fight developed in front of customers and employees.

"They then left the scene."

The victim was left with a cut to his left eye and bruising around the eyes, nose and scalp.

An impact statement read to the court by Mr Burn said Mr Haji had been left suffering nightmares and waking up in cold sweats.

She said: "This was work that dated back to the previous summer in 2013 and there hadn't been any payment forth coming.

"It doesn't excuse what had happened.

"Mr Sabri is of previous good character and has done well with work and studies.

"Mr Khalil is also of previous good character and is a family man.

"The defendants have all seen the CCTV and they are appalled by their actions. It was an unexpected attack."

The three men admitted to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Dabri Sabri and Ivan Sabri were given 26-week prison sentences suspended for two years. They were ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
