Former Staffordshire mayor denies child indecency charges
A former mayor has appeared in court to face child indecency charges.

Ex-Lichfield councillor Ian Lewin faces 15 charges, including attempting to meet a person he believed to be under the age of 16 and attempting to incite someone he believed to be under 16 to expose herself.
The other 13 charges relate to possessing indecent images of children.
Lewin, who has twice been Mayor of Fazeley, is accused of possessing a total of 1,369 indecent category C images, 175 category B images and 71 level four images.
At Stafford Crown Court, Lewin, aged 56, of Campion Close, Walsall, denied all the charges.
Judge Michael Challinor adjourned the case until January 27 and Lewin was released on unconditional bail.
