Items discovered in Rugeley field belong to missing Stephen Greatrix

Mr Greatrix, aged 45 went missing from his home in Rugeley in April and his car was found parked near Cannock Chase.

On October 23 police were called to a field off Slitting Mill Road where a bag and item of clothing were found.

Following a four day search of the area, Staffordshire Police also recovered various pieces of bone from the site which will now undergo specialist examination by an anthropologist.

Officers have now left the area and HM Coroner's office has also been made aware of the find.
