The suspected victim, wearing a black jacket, ran into the One Stop store on Stanley Road, Oldbury, saying he was being chased by another man.

He was then dragged from the store by a second man, put into a car and driven away.

The man who asked for help is described as aged 20-25, 5ft10 in tall and slim with short brown hair and freckles and wearing a black jacket.

The man who chased him is also pictured and was wearing a blue open shirt with a white T shirt underneath.

Det Sgt Matt Slattery said: "No-one has been reported missing, and enquiries so far have failed to identify the men pictured, but the incident was reported to us and we just need to check the man is safe and well."

The drama happened at around 4.05pm on Saturday.

Since the appeal West Midlands Police have identified the two individuals, saying that both are safe and well, and that no crimes were committed.
