"Our streets are filled with lewd actions - 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
It could be any night of the week in WS2, the Pleck area of Walsall which has been the centre of the town's sex trade for as long as anyone can remember.
"Our streets are filled with lewd actions 24 hours a day, seven days a week," said David Baker, chairman of Pleck's vibrant 80-strong Neighbourhood Watch which has recently met to voice residents' fears over the recent rise in kerb crawling on their streets.
Mr Baker gave the Express & Star a guided tour of the area to demonstrate what residents live with day in, day out.
Off Darlaston Road, he points out an unlit warehouse car park, hidden from the main road.
"Cars often drive into here with girls they've picked up but some girls stand and wait on this car park for lorry drivers.
"There are a number of hotspots where regular clients know they can pick a girl up, including the bottom of Slaters Lane, Darlaston Road, Dora Street, Hough Road and Reservoir Place."

In Reservoir Place, cars can be seen pulling in and then turning around and moving off after finding the street empty. Earlier in the day, Mr Baker had been called by a concerned resident who spotted a sex worker soliciting on Slaters Lane.
He said: "It's not only at night but during the day, too, and it's the rubbish left - the tissues, condoms and needles discarded in the gutter right outside people's homes. Some of the girls live in these streets so residents are living next door to them, hearing their conversations when they organise business and hearing them come home at all hours."
And with homes opening on to the pavements, there are no front gardens to separate them from what is happening in the street outside.
One resident, too frightened to give her name, said: "I've had men knock my door in the middle of the night asking for sex. I'm too scared to sleep."
A neighbour said: "I've sat here some nights and heard rows and abusive language. One girl was shouting after a car who had short changed her. They stand in front of the house and even If I shut the curtains and have theTV turned up I can still hear them."
In Darlaston Road, Mr Baker spots a known prostitute in jeans and boots, carrying a bag and a bottle of water, walking slowly up and down the road.
"Look at the area, Why would a young girl walk slowly through a trading estate or lorry lay-by on her own after midnight? It is a dirty, filthy life for them.
"I've been here 17 years but it's getting worse. Some nights are worse than others but I'd say there are six girls who are regular and more who visit because they know the area is well known for customers."
Hough Place is a small cul-de-sac featuring a handful of bungalows with neatly-kept gardens, all occupied by elderly people.
Mr Baker said: "Residents here called me to complain that prostitutes were operating in the cars outside their homes. It is a very small circle of homes, people can see everything and it's just not right."
He said there have been reports of local schoolgirls being approached by punters.
One resident said: "My daughter was walking home in her school uniform and she was pestered at the bus shelter to get into a car. It is petrifying for them and I don't want to let her out on her own."
Police informed the recent meeting with residents that in the past three months warnings have been issued to 15 women but no kerb crawlers had been arrested.
Officers say they have powers under Operation Scarlet which include issuing street cautions and in some cases if they repeatedly re-offend, applying to the courts for a criminal anti-social behaviour order (CRASBO) which bans them from entering a specific area of Walsall.
