Road closed as four injured in crash near Stourbridge
Four people were taken to hospital after they were involved in a two-car crash near Stourbridge.
The smash happened on the Stourbridge Road in Belbroughton. The road was closed for a number of hours as fire crews freed a woman from a car.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police and ambulance were also at the scene near to the junction with Field Lane.
The accident happened just after 7pm on Saturday.
Two of the patients were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, while the other two were sent to Dudley's Russells Hall for treatment.
The extent of their injuries are not yet known.
Inspector Lucy Sewell said: "We were called out to a road traffic collision at 7.05pm, and there was a report that one person was trapped in the car.
"The road was closed for some time as we carried out investigations into what caused the crash."
The road reopened at around 1am.
