Walsall road closed after man falls ill at wheel and smashes into parked car
A car hit a parked vehicle after the driver fell ill at the wheel today - closing a road in Darlaston.
Midland Road was shut while emergency services deal with the smash.
Officers were called to Midland Road at 8.10am following reports of a vehicle hitting a stationary car.
It is believed that the driver may have fallen ill at the wheel and paramedics have been treating a man in his 60s.
His condition is not yet known.
Inspector Felicity Keane, from Walsall police station, said: "We are appealing to anyone who saw the movements of the car which is a Black Nissan Micra shortly before the collision. I would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call with information."
