Police search for missing man, 23

Police have launched an appeal for help to find a 23-year-old who has vanished from his home in Staffordshire.

William Thomas Adams was reported missing from his home in St Matthew's Road, Burntwood, on July 21, but police investigating his disappearance say he is believed to have been missing since July 10.

Officer say he is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, thin, with short, fair hair and blue eyes. It is not known what he was wearing at the time he went missing.

Staffordshire Police said officers were conducting searches in a bid to track down his whereabouts.

And a spokesman for the force said: "We consider William to be vulnerable and we are concerned for his welfare.

"Extensive searches are underway to locate him and we would ask that anyone who has seen him, or had any contact, to get in touch."

Anyone with information about Mr Adams is asked to contact Staffordshire Police by ringing 101 quoting incident number 174 of July 21.
