Funeral planned for teen crash victim Natasha Whale

The funeral of a 13-year-old schoolgirl who died in a horror smash in Walsall will take place tomorrow.

Natasha Whale was killed after the car she was travelling in and a coach carrying schoolchildren crashed at the junction on Valley Road and Ryle Street in Blakenall, on February 24.

A funeral service is taking place at St Michael's Church in Pelsall at 11.30am.

Preb Carl Ramsay, vicar of St Michael's Church, will be conducting the church service.

He said: "The family want a simple service to celebrate her life. It will be open to the public and there will be a private family service afterwards at Streetly Crematorium."

The Walsall Academy pupil, who lived at St Paul's Crescent, Pelsall, was a keen footballer and had played for for Wyrley Pumas, the female section of Wyrley Juniors FC, and was a member of the Burntwood Phoenix under 14s team.
