Nathan Williams failed a breath test and was taken to a police station for further inquiries, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.

"That is where the drugs were found during a strip search," said Mr David Lees, prosecuting.

Officers discovered a total of 68 wraps of cocaine, crack and heroin concealed in the clothing of the 23-year-old, who had been stopped at 5am on New Year's Day, the court was told.

Mr Tariq Shakoor, defending, said: "There were passengers with him in the car who were not searched because at that stage the police were investigating a motoring-related offence.

"This man was not acting alone but he accepts his responsibility for involvement at a low level of street dealing. No evidence has been found to suggest extensive dealing."

Williams, from Chetton Green, Fordhouses, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine, crack and heroin with intent to supply and was jailed for three years.

Judge Amjad Nawaz told him: "There were others in that vehicle who were not searched and it is not known what was in their possession but those who deal in the misery of Class A drugs can expect imprisonment."
