The driver of the Ford Fiesta was still trapped in her vehicle when paramedics arrived at Hagley Hill in Hagley after being called around at 11am.

Firefighters from Kidderminster helped free the woman and made the vehicle safe.

She was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

It is believed the car lost control on the approach to a roundabout and hit the sign, sending the car on to its side on a path.

One lane of the road was closed briefly.
