Car and lorry smash blocks Dudley traffic island
A car and a lorry crashed damaging a set of traffic lights and blocking a busy traffic island today.

The accident happened at around 7.30am at the Cinder Bank island on Dudley Southern Bypass.
The Ford Fiesta and 30-ton Volvo lorry collided blocking one lane of the route linking Brierley Hill, Netherton and Dudley.
No-one was injured in the smash, according to police, but highways engineers were called to fix the damaged traffic lights.
Queues build on connecting routes for a short time after the crash. The road was fully reopened by 9.30am.
