Wolverhampton bus shelters vandalised
Yobs smashed windows in four bus shelters along a busy route in Wolverhampton, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
The damage was caused in Cannock Road and on some surrounding streets. Vandals smashed glass panes leaving debris on footpaths.
Centro said it would cost at least £200 to repair the damage. It comes months after £800 damage was caused at other bus shelters in Wolverhampton. Centro spokesman Peter Cameron said damage from the recent attacks, which happened on Tuesday night, had since been repaired and cleared.
Tom Stokes, a Liberal Democrat campaigner for the Spring Vale ward, said there had been six such attacks in the past two months.
He said: "It seems to be a targeted attack because it is on a particular stretch of road."
