List of West Midlands schools closed in March 26 teachers strike

Schools across the West Midlands have begun to announce whether they will shut on Wednesday due to the national walkout.

In Staffordshire, among those closing is Cheslyn Hay High School. it will be shut to pupils in years seven to 10 but will be open for students in years 11, 12 and 13. School coaches will run as normal.

Hednesford Valley High will be partially closed along with Five Ways Primary School and Longford Primary School. Kingsmead Technology College in Hednesford will only be open to students in years 10 and 11. Primary schools will also partially shut, including Longford Primary, Moorhill Primary and Redhill Primary School.

In Wolverhampton, Codsall Middle School has told parents the school will be closed to all of its 480 pupils on Wednesday.

St Edmund's Catholic Academy will be closed for pupils in years seven, eight and nine but classes will continue as usual for years 10 and upwards.

Wednesfield High School and Elston Hall Primary School will be closed to all students while Deyncourt Primary will be open to pupils in years one and two only.

In Sandwell, Ace Academy in Tipton is expected to remain open but some students may be asked to stay at home. A decision was due to be announced this afternoon.

Holly Lodge Science College in Smethwick, will be closed on Wednesday for the industrial action. Stuart Bathhurst Catholic High School in Wednesbury will be closed to all pupils on Wednesday and so will Wood Green Junior School.

Albert Pritchard Infant School will be open as normal.

Both Perryfields High School in Oldbury and Phoenix Collegiate Academy in West Bromwich will only be open to years 10, 11, 12 and 13.

While in the Dudley borough, both Dormston School and High Arcal School in Sedgley will also be closed along with The Kingswinford School.

Earls High School in Halesowen is also closed to all students but those pupils who would normally attend Halesowen College courses that day should attend as normal, as they will be unaffected. Redhill School in Stourbridge will be open as normal.
