Police drama in Tipton after reports of suspicious railway man
Police were seen scouring streets in Tipton after they received reports of someone acting suspiciously near to a disused railway line.
Several police cars, officers and a police dog were seen in Hempole Lane and Eagle Lane on Saturday evening.

There were also reports of suspicious cannisters being left in the area.
Residents were asked to stay in their homes as officers searched the scene and eventually found some discarded industrial batteries.
One resident of Hempole Lane, who did not want to be named, said police turned up at the scene at around 5pm and officers were scouring the area for several hours.
He said: "I noticed some police cars turn up and it looked as though there might have been police dogs too.
"The officers were looking up and down the street.
"They wouldn't tell me what it was about. I was just told to stay in my home."
Duty Inspector Pete Rowe, from West Bromwich police station, said: "We had a report of suspicious activity. We found some old discarded batteries."
