Firm signs £10m Walsall waste sites deal
A deal has finally been signed for a new firm to take over the running of tips and waste sites across Walsall.

The £10 million contract with Sita UK was awarded following a tender process.
Sita UK will be responsible for managing and operating the waste transfer station in Fryers Road, Leamore and tips in Fryers Road, Bloxwich and Merchants Way, Aldridge.
Council bosses say the deal will help the borough increase the amount of waste recycled and reduce the cost of disposal.
The centres currently handle about 100,000 tonnes of rubbish and recycling a year.
