Opening the inquest at Walsall Coroner's Court yesterday, Black Country Coroner Robin Balmain said the 13-year-old, who lived at St Paul's Crescent, Pelsall, had died of multiple injuries.
Her father, Karl Whale, attended the inquest yesterday and was escorted by two police officers. He said of his wife: "She's still in a critical condition at the moment."
