Police hunt two men after Halesowen armed robbery

Raiders armed with a gun threatened staff during a robbery at an off-licence in Halesowen.

The robbery took place around 2.20pm yesterday at Booze Corner in Howley Grange Road. Police have now released CCTV footage of the two suspects.

The two men armed with a gun threatened a woman assistant and stole an amount of cash before escaping in a distinctive turquoise coloured Land Rover.

They are described as two white men, one aged in his forties and wearing large glasses and a woolly hat and the other in his twenties and wearing a black top with a 'GioGio' logo on in bright green.

He also wore dark jeans with a bright blue 'Evisu' logo on the pockets.

Dc Lisa Shepherd from Force CID said: "Investigations are ongoing but we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the robbery or anyone who saw the vehicle leave to contact us on 101."
