Photographs and an audio transcript have emerged of the night's fateful events which appear to be at odds with an internal Conservative Party investigation which accepted the sacked ministerial aide's testimony that he had not been present at a bar where the revellers chanted the names of Hitler and Himmler while the groom was dressed in Nazi uniform.

Conservative Central Office today said the material did not warrant the probe conducted by Lord Gold to be reconsidered.

  • Aidan Burley: I did buy the Nazi uniform

  • If it stops us forgetting Nazi horrors, Aidan Burley's 'stupid' act will not have been in vain

Officers on the Cannock Chase Conservative Association, which is chaired by Mr Burley's fiancee and constituency office manager councillor Jodie Jones, said the new accusations had sparked 'concern' and that talks would take place over the next couple of days.

Best man Burley admitted to buying the Nazi uniform worn by groom Mark Fournier at the 2011 party in the French ski resort of Val Thorens in 2011 and has since apologised.

Lord Gold's findings found Burley behaved in an 'offensive', 'foolish' and 'stupid' way. and were made public last week following the conclusion of the French courtcase against Mr Fournier who was fined £1,200 and ordered to pay £800 to Holocaust families victims group because wearing a Nazi uniform is illegal in France.

But a reporter and photographer, who were coincidently there at the time, have produced images and recordings which appear to contradict Mr Burley.'s recollection of events that he was subsequently not present at the Frog & Roastbeef pub where chanting of the names of senior Nazi figures occurred.

The allegations have led to repeated demands for Mr Burley to resign and for a fresh inquiry into the MPs' actions.

Dudley North MP Ian Austin said: "The Prime Minister and the Tory party have got themselves into a real mess."

There was no response from Mr Burley or Miss Jones to approaches made by the Express & Star.
