Family-owned company Timpson opened the doors to its store in the Crown Centre in Stourbridge on Saturday, creating two extra jobs.

The shop follows the opening of sandwich chain Subway. Market company BWD has received offers from three other companies over the remaining retail units at the centre.

The complex opened on October 31.

Today, Timpson chairman John Timpson said: "We have looked at Stourbridge for some time, but finding the right opportunity has taken some time."
