First snow falls in Staffordshire as freeze hits

Snow fell in Cannock Chase and roads were left covered in frost after temperatures dropped overnight.
The Met Office today issued a warning to motorists to be aware of icy roads, with many having a treacherous journey to work today.
Forecasters say the freezing temperatures are not expected to last, and will rise to 7C (44.6F).
