The popular tourist attraction's 2014 summer jobs website will go 'live' on December 20 and will see the site recruiting 250 workers for the 'summer season', which starts on February 15.

A further 150 vacancies will also become available between April and July to boost staff numbers during the holiday season.

Positions are open to people of all ages and from all kinds of backgrounds. There are vacancies throughout various departments, including food and beverage, leisure, retail and admissions, reserves and games.

One of the departments with the most jobs on offer is the leisure area, which needs around 70 staff to operate the amusement rides when the park fully reopens for the summer season on February 15.

Leisure area manager for the park, Marcus Hude-Flynn, said: "Becoming part of the leisure team suits applicants that love to be outdoors on a daily basis, those that enjoy entertaining guests and creating smiles and laughter associated with this fun environment."

Later, between April and July, a further 150 jobs will become available, of which 50 will be in the amusement area.

Michelle Gale, the park's human res-ources manager, said: "All new starters will benefit from enhanced training and gain invaluable work experience.

"Once our jobs website goes live it will be a very busy time for us as we gather job applications between Christmas and the New Year break, ready to start the interviewing process in January 2014."

Jobs can be applied for here. Alternatively, application forms can be downloaded, completed and returned to the reception office, open daily from 9am until 5pm, or posted to the human resources manager, West Midland Safari Park, Spring Grove, Bewdley, Worcestershire DY12 1LF.
