Road closed due to burst water main
A road was closed today due to a burst water main.
Halesowen Street in Rowley Regis was temporarily shut today while repairs were taking place.
Repairs were completed today and the road is due to be resurfaced tomorrow. It is expected to reopen tomorrow evening.
The street is a one-way street and is on a bus route, meaning bus stops in the street are unable to use the stops while South Staffs Water carries out the repairs. Passengers are advised to use alternative stops.
A diversion is in operation from the roundabout at the end of the street via Long Lane and Horner Way.
Customer Services Director for South Staffs Water, Rachel Barber said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and will carry out the necessary repairs as quickly as we can."
