Woman arrested over M5 wrong-way drive released on bail
A woman who allegedly drove the wrong way along the M5 motorway has been released on police bail.

Police were dealing with a separate matter at the traffic island at junction one of the motorway for West Bromwich when they saw a black Vauxhall Astra leaving the carriageway up the entry slip road in the early hours of yesterday.
A 26-year-old woman, from Halesowen, was arrested after she allegedly drove north on the southbound carriageway from junction two for Oldbury up to junction one.
She was arrested on suspicion of driving twice over the drink-drive limit, after she allegedly gave a sample showing that reading in custody, and dangerous driving but has now been released on police bail until a date in the New Year.
