Blockbuster store to close as bid fails
The Blockbuster store in Stourbridge is to close with the loss of five jobs after administrators for the collapsed DVD and movie rental chain failed to find a buyer for the business.

The Stourbridge branch, in Bridge North Road, is among 30 stores that will be closed, with the loss of 182 jobs.
It follows the closure of 72 stores earlier this month, including one in West Bromwich, and the loss of 452 jobs after administrators Moorfields Corporate Recovery were called in.
Today Moorfields said no 'acceptable' offers had been received for the business.
