Mohammed Yasin, aged 37, was working at Recycled Paper UK Ltd in Neachells Lane in Wednesfield when he became trapped under the forklift truck he was driving last January.

Speaking after an inquest concluded Mr Yasin's death was accidental, his wife Zahida Kauser, aged 32, said: "It has been incredibly hard and stressful for all of us since the accident."

Mrs Kauser said her husband moved to the UK from Pakistan in June 2001, and after marrying the couple set up their home in Clinton Street, Winson Green in Birmingham.

She added Mr Yasin started working for Recycled Paper UK Ltd in the same year, often putting in 12-hour shifts for six days a week.

"When he came to England he was just so happy to get a job. All he wanted to do was to work hard and provide for his family. Losing him has devastated all of us."

Mr Yasin is survived by his sons, Zeeshan, aged 12, Zain, 10, and Zameer, nine. "He was a wonderful father who loved his children with all his heart.

"He would do anything for them," added Mrs Kauser.

Mr Yasin's inquest heard Recycled Paper UK Ltd failed to produce documents, including his forklift truck driver's certificate, for the hearing.
