Stone pool is closed for essential repairs
A swimming pool has closed for essential repair work, hitting the first day of the school half-term holiday.

Workers were today trying to fix a broken circulation pipe at the six-lane 25m pool at the Alleyne's Sports Centre in Stone.
People with swim passes are being sent to Stafford Leisure Centre while the problem is being dealt with.
It is not yet known how long the the work will take and the pool is closed until further notice.
The rest of the Alleyne's Sports Centre is open.
A special timetable had been drawn up to cater for more children during the half-term holidays.
