Wolverhampton school to stay shut for extra two days

A school in Wolverhampton will be closed for an extra two days this week as work continues to prepare classrooms after building work.

St Andrew's CE Primary School, in Whitmore Reans, will now reopen after the summer holidays to pupils on Friday.

Work was carried out under Wolverhampton City Council's primary school expansion scheme.

Two new classrooms have been built at the Coleman Street school to help cope with the creation of 15 new pupil places.
