Takeaways on menu at £200m centre
A number of takeaway restaurants could open their doors at a new £200 million shopping centre which has transformed the landscape in a Black Country town centre.

Tesco, which is behind the huge retail and leisure complex New Square, in West Bromwich, has been granted permission to have hot food takeaways at the centre after looking to widen its options for potential future clients.
Planning bosses at Sandwell Council have given the supermarket giant permission to turn some of the centre's remaining units into takeaways, as the previous planning permissions did not include hot food takeaways.
In a report submitted to the council, planning consultants Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners, acting on behalf of Tesco, wrote that the move was being made following inquiries about availability from certain retailers.
The report states: "Our client is continuing to receive commercial expressions of interest from prospective tenants to occupy the remaining vacant retail units within both phases one and two of the scheme. The recent expressions of interest are from food and drink and hot food takeaways."
The consent has been given just weeks before phase two of the development begins to open – which is being led by discount retailing giant Primark.
The company has already started fitting out its new unit, which stretches over 50,000 sqft, well in advance of its grand opening. More than 100 jobs will be created at the huge new store.
Other business there include Poundworld and Greggs, while Chinese buffet restaurant Real China and Costa coffee shop are also among the tenants.
