The men targeted vehicles left on the car park, in Cakemore Road, Halesowen, smashing windows or forcing locks to get at the valuables. Police today said a Saab 93 had driven into the car park, in full view of nearby football pitches.

Officers have now released CCTV images of the men believed to be responsible and are urging anyone with information to get in touch. The driver of the Saab was a black man of skinny build and was wearing a white t-shirt with a black logo on the front, blue jeans, white trainers and sunglasses.

Police said security had been increased at the car park since the thefts took place just after 8pm on July 22. Pc John Burchill, of Dudley Police, said the car park had been well used at the time of the thefts.

"The men in the CCTV images are wearing distinctive clothing so someone may be able to identify who they are," he said.

Anyone with information on the thefts or who can identify those in the images is asked to call police on 101 or alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
