Pair taken to hospital after Brierley Hill crash

A man and woman have been taken to hospital after a serious road accident in Brierley Hill.

Paramedics and police rushed to Moor Street at around 8.45pm on Saturday to reports of an accident involving a pushbike and a car.

They treated a 37-year-old man from Brierley Hill, who was riding the bike, for his injuries before taking him to hospital for further treatment.

A female car driver was also taken to hospital following the crash.

Moor Street remained closed between Hawbush Road and Charlton Street tonight while West Midlands Police investigate the accident.
