A442 crash couple named
A couple who died after their car left the road and hit a tree near Kidderminster were tonight named by police.

Geoffrey Colin Venn and his wife Gillian Elizabeth Venn, both aged 70, were driving along the A442 between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth when the accident happened near Alveley on Sunday.
Mr Venn died at the scene. Mrs Venn, who was driving the silver Toyota Rav 4, died the following day at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The couple were from Sharnbrook in Bedford.
Shropshire coroner John Ellery is expected to open an inquest into their deaths tomorrow. Police believe no other vehicle was involved in the crash.
